Nathan Carter (the early years) is the brightest young singing star to hit Ireland for many years.  Here is the story  so far. Nathan was born in the City of Liverpool.  At the age of four he found his love for music and was given a piano  accordion, which he quickly mastered.  At age seven, Nathan started to enter Fleadh Ceoil Competitions in Accordion and  Singing.  At 15, he won the All Ireland Title for Traditional Singing.    Nathan was determined to seek a career in the Music Industry, and at the tender age of 16 years, decided to leave school  and follow his dream.  His début album “Starting Out” contained such Country Classics as ‘Working Man;’ ‘Look   At Us;’ ‘40 ‘Shades Of Green’ and Irish Standards ‘Isle Of Innisfree;’ ‘Carrickfergus’ and ‘Erin Gra Moi Chroi’ - both  Traditional Classics. “Starting Out” was a terrific success for a first album and it opened many doors that would otherwise be firmly locked, to  someone so young.  As a result of the popularity of “Starting Out,” Nathan was invited to perform, on two of the famous  Cruises and at Resort Residencies organised by Enjoy Travel.  This experience led to invitations to perform, with great  aplomb at high-profile dancing and concert venues throughout the UK.  In his first year on the music scene, Nathan was  invited to ‘open’ for such Giants of the Irish entertainment industry as Tommy Fleming, Philomena Begley, Big Tom, Jimmy  Buckley, Susan McCann and Mike Denver. In February 2008, Nathan was pleasantly surprised to be invited by the organisers, to attend The Irish World Awards Gala  Night, at the Galtymore Dance Club, Cricklewood.  Nathan was even more astounded, when he was announced as the  “The Best Male Newcomer, Award Winner” for 2007.  He then sang the Don Long's classic “Never Be The Sun.”  The  packed audience ‘brought the house down,’ with rapturous applause and much screaming, from the ‘young women’ of all  ages!  Such, was the demand for more, from the “The Best Male Newcomer of 2007” that the James Peake Band, duly  invited Nathan back on stage to perform a set, which satisfied the enormous demands, of his new and adoring fans.  2008 continued to be a very busy time for Nathan Carter; he built on his success, with his second album “On The Road.”  Nathan created quite a stir amongst radio presenters, with many top DJ’s choosing his second offering as their Album of  the Week.  Pre-recorded and On Air, interviews followed at stations up and down the country and continue to do so.  The future is even brighter for Nathan Carter, autumn 2009, will see him establish residency in Northern Ireland. No  surprise there then; since his folks originally came from Newry.  There will be the launch of the new Northern Ireland  based, Nathan Carter Band.   “The Future is Bright” for The Nathan Carter Band, the brightest young singing star, on the horizon will be coming your  way soon.  Nathan Carter is the “surprise package” that all of Ireland’s Country Music fans have been waiting for.  This young singing sensation is coming to a venue near you very soon!   Don’t miss him!   NATHAN CARTER BAND 2012 JUST TWENTY FIVE MONTHS, ON THE ROAD THROUGHOUT  IRELAND AND UK. London, in February 2008.  Nathan was delighted to be invited to the Irish World Awards, Gala Night, at the Galtymore Dance Club in Cricklewood,  London.    Nathan was astounded, when he was announced as Winner of the "Best Male Newcomer Award for 2007."  He was duly  invited to sing one song.  He chose the beautiful, Donagh Long classic "Never Be the Sun". He brought the 'house down'  with rapturous applause and much screaming, from 'young women' of all ages!    During our "extended recorded Interview" I asked if he had a Biography.  Nathan honestly replied that he did not know  how to write one.  I offered to prepare for him, his Biography, so as to assist him in his career.   I have prepared, many  Press Releases since for Nathan, who has become a trusted friend.  We have also done, many Radio Interviews since  then.   I have the good-fortune of being welcomed, as a Family friend of Nathan's Parents and siblings, and Gran and  Gran-dad Ann and John, who are "The Real McCoy!"  Brian Mc Laughlin - 7th February 2012      -----------------------------------------------
